Meet Margaret

Hi, I'm Margaret, but you can call me Mo.

My approach is warm and relational, grounded in the understanding that healing unfolds through safety, attunement, and trust. I view therapy as a collaborative process - one that moves at your pace, with deep respect for your story, your nervous system, and the ways your body has learned to endure and protect.

In our work together, I integrate trauma-focused and attachment-based approaches that support the whole person. Therapy is not about pushing or fixing; it’s about creating enough safety for curiosity, compassion, and restoration to emerge. Together, we make room for both the pain you’ve carried and the strength that has sustained you.

A core part of my work draws from Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a gentle, body-based trauma therapy that supports the nervous system in releasing shock, tension, and emotion held at deep levels. DBR works without overwhelm, honoring the body’s timing and capacity. I also integrate Alexander Technique (AT) interweaves, which invite awareness of subtle patterns of holding and release. Together, these approaches support the body’s natural movement toward grounding, regulation, and renewed ease.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Covenant College and completed my Master’s degree at Richmont Graduate University, where I received a specialization in trauma. My work continues to be shaped by ongoing training and a commitment to approaches that honor both the nervous system and the deeper longings for meaning, connection, and healing.

At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens in relationship - when you feel seen, respected, and safe enough to listen to what your system has been holding. I approach this work with humility, care, and reverence for each person’s story, trusting that restoration unfolds in its own time.

If you’re ready to begin, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover what safety, trust, and peace can feel like.
