Meet Margaret

Hi, I'm Margaret, but you can call me Mo.

I’m a trauma therapist who values warmth, honesty, depth, and real relationship in the therapy room. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens through safety, attunement, and trust, not through pressure, performance, or trying harder.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Covenant College and completed my Master’s degree at Richmont Graduate University, where I specialized in trauma. Since then, my work has continued to be shaped by ongoing training in trauma, attachment, and body based approaches to healing.

I work with clients who often feel like they have had to survive more than they have been able to live. Many come to therapy carrying complex trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, dissociation, shame, or a deep sense of disconnection from themselves. My role is not to push or fix, but to help create enough safety for honesty, curiosity, and compassion to emerge.

A core part of my clinical work draws from Deep Brain Reorienting, also known as DBR, a gentle, body based trauma therapy that helps the nervous system process shock, tension, and emotion without overwhelming the body. I also weave in Alexander Technique interweaves, which support awareness of subtle patterns of holding and invite the body toward more ease, grounding, and regulation.

I care deeply about showing up with authenticity, warmth, and genuine connection. My hope is that you feel met by someone who is thoughtful, grounded, and truly present with you in the work.

At the heart of it, I believe healing happens in relationship. I approach this work with reverence and a deep respect for the pace your healing requires.

If you are ready to begin, I would be honored to support you in that process.
